Palatine Celtic Soccer Club is committed to being the best soccer program around by developing the smartest and most skilled soccer players in the area.

Our U6 Recreational House program is intended to provide young players the chance to find out just how much FUN it is to play soccer in an organized environment and also to learn the essential soccer skills at a very early age.

Objective: Provide a player-centered league open to prekindergarten and kindergarten boys and girls to introduce the game of soccer to players in the Palatine community.

Who: Open to boys and girls in prekindergarten and kindergarten. This is a coed league.

When: Our season will begin on Saturday, April 15th.  All U6 games will be held from 12-1:15pm on Saturdays at Hamilton/Gbur Park. 

What: U6 Coed teams will play 4v4 without goalkeepers. All teams will have a 10-minute warm up before playing against another team.

**NEW FOR SPRING 2023**: U6 coaches will hold (1) 45 minute practice during the week (Monday-Thursday). Volunteer parent coaches are expected to run a practice each week from either 5:30-6:15pm or 6-6:45pm. Games will be four (9) minute quarters. Our volunteer parent coaches are encouraged to interact with the players on the field (make sure they're going in the right direction and ball stays in play) and serve as the referees for the games. There are no throw-ins at this age. 

Cost: $110 per player for Spring 2023. For Spring, included in this fee is a pair of soccer socks.  A $30 uniform fee will be added to a player's registration if they did NOT play this past Fall 2022 season on a House team.  The uniform fee includes: (2) Celtic jerseys (1-Home and 1-Away). All players should wear black shorts with their uniform on the weekend.
