Practices have begun for U8-U14. Opening game weekend for U6-U14 will be April 27/28.
U14 girls UPDATE
With the player numbers decreasing in our U14G division, Celtic soccer has teamed up with Schaumburg Recreational Soccer to provide for more teams to play against. For this SPRING ONLY, most U14G games will be played at a field in Schaumburg on Saturday mornings.
Beginning in Fall 2019, the plan is to have a balance of games played both in Palatine and Schaumburg as the two programs come together to offer an even better soccer experience for this age group. We are excited for the collaboration with Schaumburg. Palatine teams will stay Palatine teams, with players from Palatine, as well as volunteer coaches. Partnering with Schaumburg allows for more teams, thus not playing the same teams over and over again just from Palatine. Please contact Jenn Hurwitz with any further questions about our U14G division and this new opportunity for our girls.
Our U8 division (boys and girls) will have Monday practices from 5-6pm, location TBD with Celtic travel staff. Coaches of the U8 teams are strongly encouraged to attend these training sessions also as to encourage knowledge and continuity with further training sessions. U8 coaches will choose a 2nd practice day/time, so U8 will continue to have (2) practices per week. As with our practice policy, they are not required to be made up due to weather related cancellations by the Palatine Park District.

Full refund up to and including 1 week past posted last day of regular registration, less $5 processing fee. Refund requests received after that but prior to the scheduled coaches' meeting will receive a 50% refund, less $5 processing fee. After the scheduled coaches' meeting, NO REFUNDS will be given, except for season ending injury.
Please remember that our main goals for Celtic soccer are: Balanced Teams, Good Sportsmanship, Positive Coaching, Player Development, and Everyone Plays. In addition, the process of creating teams by our volunteer division directors is very time consuming work and once the teams have been created, every player move involves more than just that player. It also involves finding a replacement of comparable skill levels (to maintain team balance) or incurs the loss of a player due to refund.
Once a refund has been submitted, the player has been fully removed from the roster and cannot return. If the player returns any game he or she played will become a forfeit. This is a liability for the player and club. Non-registered players will be strictly enforced.
