Our Junior Celtic program is a preparation development program for young players interested in playing travel soccer. It is open to boys and girls born in 2013 & 2014 for the 2019-2020 season. Our goal with the program is to provide professional training twice per week in fall and spring plus one session during the winter. Starting in the fall of 2018, we have given participants an option to register for full year or for a season (fall, spring, or winter).
Our Celtic travel program is for girls and boys (2001-2013). We provide 2-3 training sessions per team beginning in August through June. It is a 10 month commitment with breaks in November, for Christmas Break, and Spring Break. Players must tryout for the travel program usually in early to mid-May every year. The travel program currently consists of 30 teams, 380 players, and every team has professional coach.
Over the last two years, Celtic SC has refocused their efforts on player development. We have institute a club philosophy and coaching methodology to develop highly successful players both on and off the field. Our model is player-centered and based upon educational theories on how young people learn. This model is shared by all our staff and carried out in each one of our training sessions throughout the year. If you have immediate questions, please contact Director of Soccer Operations, JJ Ruane.
The Arch program began in August of 2017. Celtic's idea behind this program is to provide professional training to players U8-U14 once per week with a Celtic staff member. The program runs during the fall, winter, and then also during the summer months. This has become a supplemental training program for some of our recreation players during their league seasons. The Arch program provides players with basic technical skills.
